• HI Y’ALL!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog!

    I'm Leslie.

    I am a girl, a wife, a mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend and a photographer.

    I love coke {real. Not Diet!}.
I love going to the movies and my favorite part is the previews.
I love dessert and often forego dinner to just have dessert.
I love my hubby and my two precious boys.
I love taking photos and making sure all of my clients have a blast during their photo sessions!

My blog is where you can check out my latest work, coke-induced ramblings of anything from football to carpool and tons of pictures of my kids! So get comfy, grab a coke and enjoy the show!

(some might think I get paid to mention coke but I don't. I should, but I don't!:))

Fashion Friday

Today’s fashion friday is all about jewelry! Or Bracelets to be specific! I love all kinds of jewelry…necklaces, rings, earrings and bracelets! And I am always on the look out for something unique and different.

My great friend, Ashley, introduced me to her mom’s beautiful line  bracelets, and I fell in love immediately!! Ashley’s mom, Carolyn, is the creator of Mariposa Designs Jewelry. It is a line of unique bracelets and other accessories such as belts and more!

Her leather wrap bracelets and her snap leather bracelets are accented with unique stones. The leathers come in a variety of colors such as black, tan, caramel, bronze, metallic silver, metallic gold and more! There are tons of semi-precious stones to accent your bracelet!

I had the pleasure of taking some photos of this unique line and photos of its creator, Carolyn. I wanted to share them with you and let you know that these bracelets would make wonderful gifts for mothers out there!

I have two bracelets, and I haven’t taken them off since I got them!! Thanks Carolyn for your fabulous creativity and design!!  For more information on this line, check out her facebook page.  Here is the link…http://www.facebook.com/pages/Mariposa-Designs/138295606209853

Birthday Party Inspiration

Eli’s birthday is next week and I can not believe he will be five-years-old! Seems like just yesterday we were packing up our things to move to Greenville and waiting on his arrival all at the same time! It was crazy!

The theme for this year’s party is Camp Eli! I am so excited about all the cute things that I am planning for this birthday party. We are going to have a tent set up, sleeping bags and lots of games!

Below is an inspiration board I created with this fabulous new website called pinterest! It is kind of like an online bulletin board, where you pin things you like to your inspiration boards! I love it!

Now hopefully I can pull this all together! Stay tuned for photos from the party next week!

A Charleston Wedding

A few weekends ago, I had the opportunity to second shoot a wedding in Charleston with the fabulous Lisa Carpenter of Lisa Carpenter Photography.  We always have a blast when we photograph weddings together, and I am so honored every time she asks me to shoot with her!

Maggie and Tyson were married at the beautiful William Aiken house.  Every time I am there, I fall in love with it all over again.  The beautiful yellow stucco, wrap-around porches and carriage house all make exquisite backdrops for a wedding.

There were tons of details at this wedding, and I always love photographing those!  The program was hand painted by a friend of the bride’s, and we basically had a photo shoot just with it!!

Thanks Lisa for asking me to shoot this with you!!  Can’t wait for the next one!

Happy Easter

Today was a very busy day.  From opening Easter presents from the Easter Bunny to going to church to working all day…I am pooped!  I feel like I have been up for a week not just a day!

Even though I had to get some work done, I managed to run, take Eli for a bike ride and cook lunch.  Not your traditional Easter lunch though.  No, my kids don’t eat things that people traditionally serve on Easter.  Instead, we grilled out and had cheeseburgers!  Guess it is a good thing I managed to run today!  We did add on deviled eggs to the cheeseburger Easter meal.  So at least we had one thing traditional!

I was so busy, I almost forgot to get a photo!  So thank goodness Dan reminded me and grab a quick shot of the three of us.  He had already changed so he wasn’t willing to get in the photo!

I hope everyone had a Happy Easter!  Tomorrow school is back in session for us and we have a busy week ahead.  Only about one month until we head out of town to see a man about a mouse!  Yep, that’s right!  We are headed to Disney!  But don’t tell anyone…the kids don’t know!  We are going to try and imitate the commercial where the kids get surprised with the trip as soon as they wake up!  Wish us luck!!
